Privacy Policy — 3matchpuzzle

Individual Entrepreneur Aleksei Ruban (“we”, “us”) develops and operates 3matchpuzzle. This policy explains how data is handled when you use the App. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

2. Age rating and audience

The App is intended for users aged 4+. It is not directed to children under 13 in jurisdictions requiring parental consent for processing personal data.

3. What data we collect

At launch, the App is designed to operate without collecting personal data. Depending on the options you enable, these categories may be processed:

  • Sign in with Apple — user identifier plus optional name and email (if you allow).
  • In-app purchases — purchase receipts and identifiers needed to validate entitlements.
  • Advertising — ad SDKs may use device identifiers to deliver or measure ads.
  • Diagnostics and usage (optional) — crash logs, performance metrics, aggregate engagement.
  • Gameplay telemetry (future) — gameplay events (moves, progress) for balancing.
  • Additional sign-in providers (future) — name and email from Google/Facebook if enabled.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal data.

4. Why we process data (legal bases)

  • Provide the App and its features, including purchase validation and optional sign-in.
  • Improve and secure the App (diagnostics, anti-fraud).
  • Show advertising where enabled.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases (where applicable): performance of a contract, legitimate interests, and consent (e.g., analytics, personalised ads, sign-in).

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with:

  • Service providers processing data on our behalf (app stores, payment processors, hosting, analytics/ad networks).
  • Authorities when required by law.
  • Successors in the event of a merger or asset transfer.

6. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless law requires a shorter period. Without an account or ongoing need, we delete or anonymise data. Default retention for gameplay/usage logs (if enabled): indefinite, until no longer required. You can request deletion at any time.

7. International transfers

Where data crosses borders we apply appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export data, and to object or restrict processing. Contact alexeyrv1@gmail.com to exercise rights.

  • EEA/UK users: We rely on the GDPR legal bases above. You may contact your data protection authority.
  • California residents: We do not “sell” personal information under the CCPA. You may request access or deletion via alexeyrv1@gmail.com.

10. Children’s privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from children under the applicable age of consent. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party services

The App may include these categories of third-party SDKs/services (update this list for your build):

  • App Store / Apple — Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, receipt validation.
  • Advertising network(s) — <AD_NETWORK(S) OR “None”>; SDKs may use device identifiers and coarse location. Configure privacy settings to disable personalised ads if desired.
  • Analytics / Crash reporting — <ANALYTICS_SDK OR “None”>.

12. Cookies and tracking

We do not use cookies in the App. Third-party SDKs may use device or advertising identifiers. We do not engage in cross-app “Tracking” (as defined by Apple) unless you opt into personalised advertising; in that case the SDK’s policy applies.

13. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be posted here with an updated effective date.

App Privacy summary for App Store Connect (guidance)

  • Data linked to you: None at launch. Future: Contact Info (Name, Email) if you enable non-Apple sign-in; Purchases for IAP.
  • Data not linked to you: Diagnostics (crash/analytics, if enabled) and Usage Data (aggregate gameplay, if enabled).
  • Tracking: No by default. If you enable personalised ads or IDFA usage, mark “Tracking = Yes” and disclose relevant categories.
